Dear Earth Healers,

Two years ago, I shared my sensing that it was time to lay down my formal Earth energy healing work. Before offering my concluding reflections, I invite those of you who are not also on my Shift Blog email list to read the personal update I sent to that list several days ago, which fills in some details about the last few years.

 Concluding Reflections.

I launched the Earth Energy Healing website and accompanying newsletters on June 16, 2005. In Newsletter #1 I wrote "With this first newsletter we begin as a fledgling community of about eighteen like-minded souls in seven States and two Canadian Provinces." By 2010 the number of members of the network exceeded 300 in more than 40 countries, passed 500 in 2012, and dropped to over 300 after a newsletter list cleanup in 2014, and to a little less than 300 in a newsletter list cleanup in 2021.

In looking over eighteen years of newsletters I am astonished at the breadth and amount of Earth energy healing work we accomplished and smile at the symmetry of starting with 18 members and the active work lasting for 18 years. Early on my spiritual journey I learned that attachment to outcome in energy healing work doesn't neutralize, but lessens the positive effect, and I have practiced lack of attachment throughout. A well-established principle of energy medicine is that the physical plane is the last *level* to express energetic patterns in the human energy field. This feels true to me for Earth energy work as well. Though I never *expected* to see concrete physical evidence from our Earth healing work, as a geologist who remains firmly grounded in the physical plane, I look for it. In these concluding reflections I'll offer my observations in that respect, while trusting that the common good has been served whether evident or not.  

The home page of the EEH website, now archived on the Wayback Machine internet archive, groups our work into major categories:

1. Geophysical stabilization and healing damaged energetic grids. As noted further below, this is one area where I have been able to document evidence that our work may have had a positive effect.
2. Healing the waters of the Earth. My favorite project in this area was energetically restoring Gaia's free-flowing rivers. Except perhaps at a very local level, I have not seen any concrete evidence of a positive effect.
3. Anchoring and linking New Earth grids. My favorite projects in this area were the Elemental Points of Light (POL) and Upper Mantle grids because they involved the greatest amount of participation by members of the EEH Network. I also loved the Upper Mantle project because it literally deepened my connection with Mother Earth. The nature of these energetic grids isn't amenable to measurement so I haven't made any effort to develop metrics, simply trusting that in some way they are having a positive effect.
4. Linking the crystalline and human heart grids. The purpose of this project, as I understood it, was to offer support to humanity's collective awakening process through bringing in the support of the POL, Upper Mantle, Karst and Quartzite grids to areas of the planet where human conflict and oppression where particularly intense. With sorrow I have to say that if there has been a positive effect in the physical plane, I haven't seen evidence of it.

Evidence of Geophysical Stabilization. In 2007 and 2009 I provided evidence that the Grand Tetons blessing ceremony in May, 2004, reduced earthquake activity in the area of the Yellowstone super volcano. In July, 2021, the last update I made to the No Catastrophic Earth Changes page on my Great Shift website, I wrote the following:

The title of this page has a specific meaning in the context of the dimensional shift that is underway for humanity and Mother Earth. When the New Earth was fully anchored energetically in 2012, in hindsight now, it seems that the most intense geophysical aspects of Mother Earth's dimensional shift were completed. Evidence of this can be seen in the decline in the frequency of major earthquakes since 2012 evident in the graph below. Humanity is not moving through its collective dimensional shift as readily as Mother Earth and now we are faced with dealing with our human-created catastrophic ecosystem and climate-related changes.  

No new mineral array formed to accompany this newsletter. The array pictured below is not currently on Windgather Mesa, yet its image and energy asked to be to included here as a sort of parting blessing. A heart-shaped lavender strand encircles a glacially polished cobble of Rose Quartzite--sandstone fused and recrystallized by intense heat and pressure, and two pieces of Fulgurite--silica sand vitrified by lightning strikes. The Rose Quartzite has been with me since I was a young geologist and with the size and shape of a human heart it is a source of great support and comfort. I see these Rock Elders as metaphors for human incarnational experience. Our souls have been shaped and polished by the challenges of many lifetimes on Earth preparing us to face whatever may come with strong hearts.

I lay down the Earth Energy Healing Network with no regrets. I feel deep gratitude for all of you who have joined me on this journey. It's been a good journey together.

Passing the Torch.

In the personal update I mentioned earlier I explain a bit about what I mean by passing the torch. First, I would like to honor all of you who continue to actively engage in the larger work of healing Mother Earth. One reason I easily lay down my active involvement in this larger work to focus more on the piece of this beautiful planet where I reside is that I see younger folks who naturally recognize their energetic connection to Mother Earth, plants and animals around them.

The New Earth grids that we, the EEH Network, and many others, have created remain to support those who carry the work on. Below is an array that formed on Windgather Mesa in June, 2023, eighteen years after I launched the EEH website. The base map is a 1998 Google Earth image of our homestead. A Fire and Ice Quartz crystal rests on the location of Windgather Glade, the sacred energy vortex/portal/gateway that has been central to my Earth healing work from the start. Overlapping strands of Lapis Lazuli, representing Mother Earth, and Jasper, representing humanity, form a vesica piscis. Not marked, but within the vesica piscis, is the location where Elemental POL #1 was activated. Rose Quartzite from Gros Morne Mountain, Newfoundland (upper left), Bighorn Dolomite from the west slope of the Teton Mountains (upper right), and Peridotite from the Tablelands, Newfoundland (bottom center) connect the Quartzite, Karst and Upper Mantle Grids to Windgather Glade.
